Feeling something
Meets at least three of your human needs..
Then you will become addicted to:
That thought,
That feeling,
That emotion,
That action.

Understanding the six fundamental human needs is the key to unlocking our full potential and building habits that serve us, not harm us.

With awareness, we are in control. Without it, we are controlled.

  1. Certainty = Habits, Rituals, Etc.
  2. Uncertainty = Variety/Surprise
  3. Connection and/or Love
  4. Significance = Feeling of Uniqueness or Importance
  5. Contribution (Stepping out of ourselves)
  6. Growth / Progression
